How did it all start?

My business cards for my photography business KenMcBride.com were getting destroyed in the rear carry wallet that I had so I changed over to a front carry wallet.
The front carry wallet did not prove to be any better, so I started to hunt around for the ideal solution but came up with a blank.

I had the classic problem without a solution. 

I wanted something that would carry the 5 cards that I really needed plus some business cards. The cards had to protect the business cards and I still wanted to carry some cash.
The prototyping started with 8-9 cards and cash and some sheets of paper, a pair of scissors and tape.

Once I had a template ready I gathered some basic leather working tools, some scraps of leather to practice on, so down the rabbit hole I went and really started enjoying it. 

After showing some friends what I had made some started to ask me to make one for them and it started to roll from there.

This is what I initially came up with and there are more to come!
