Leather & Stitching

McBride Leather sources the highest quality 'top grain' leather along with the finest linen thread.

We use leather from 2 different tanneries in Italy and England.
The Italian leather comes from the Badalassi tannery in Tuscany with its soft, aromatic leather in Tobacco, Olive or Cognac colours.
The English leather comes from the Metropolitan tannery in England with its classic Lyveden for its 'pull up' effect and comes in Chestnut, Tan or Taupe; and as shown below.

The thread that we use is from France. The Fil Au Chinois Lin Câblé is a traditional linen thread that dates back to 1847 and is currently used by 'Hermes'.

The stitching complements the leather to perfection - choose from:

  • Ecru
  • Beige
